Random 2017 Thoughts

Do what needs to be done, because it needs to be done.
Love God, love others, love life.

See the cause not the cost. When there is a cause, the cost is irrelevant.

It’s always easier to play it safe, but nothing changes until something changes. The risk is nothing compared to the change it will make.

The price of Greatness is responsibility.

Daniel survived the lions den, but he still had to go through it.

The Victory is only for those who will fight. The who don’t fight are always the ones who loose.

People with passion change the world.

The best weapon in human history is the heart, it has done everything in our history.

Real relationships are not run on schedules, they are fluid, flowing, like this with God.

There are both draining and empowering people, both will always be there for obvious reasons. Help everyone, but have very intentional friends. We both must be and must have mentors. Learn to listen in order to do both things well. Ask open ended questions. Take risks once you have heard from God. Pray and listen for the answer.

Obedience and risk go hand in hand. Make a certain culture to grow a certain product. Frame someone’s future with words of encouragement and vision.

You should never be too busy for people.

Use time well. We all get the same amount of time, it varies how we all use it, which effects all the outcomes of life.  Make time to think, for yourself. Do what you can do today. Don’t leave things undone. Plan meetings before you have them. Check on what you delegate.

Success is not the moment you win the event, is the decision you make to train everyday. Everybody can be great, choose to be. Shepherd boys become kings, natural leaders are everywhere.

Tasks DEVELOPE people more than than titles.

Time sorts out a lot of leadership issues. Leaders must have clear standards, boundaries and expectations. Leaders must submit to leaders. Be where your leaders are, don’t wait for the invite, make a point of it. Give life skills, not just leadership skills. Plan and structure for growth. Relationships with people lead to people having relationships with God. Speaking reaches people, people reach out & change the world.

“I will never quit…If knocked down, I will get back up, every time. I will draw on every remaining ounce of strength to protect my teammates…I am never out of the fight.” (Philosophy of the U.S. Navy SEALs)
