Things are growing, slowly, but none the less growing. Slow, steady and stable is much better for serious discipleship. Getting the “masses” often means many “misses”, as in people falling through the cracks. The big crowd might look good, but it’s not a true measure of very much at all. Crowds gather for all sorts of reasons, we want them there for Jesus, so we can make disciples.
This last week we connected to 25 new people throughout the ministry.
We currently have 3 churches in Baseco, with youth, children’s ministry and active Bible study groups.
Then the same again Don Bosco and Fairview, although Fairview is still very new and very small.
We have three new, but consistent bible studies in Parola, which are often about 50 people strong.
Numbers aren’t huge, but Jesus only had 120 waiting in that upper room, and He changed the world. If you get the right people into the right process, impact can be far greater than what you might think.
We also have an active sponsorship program with children in elementary school, high school and college.
A book club, Lego club and many many more activities. Teams from Australia, Denmark and various European countries, it can get a tad busy, but bus isn’t a measure of success either – all that matters, is ARE WE MAKING DISCIPLES in the midst of all the activities…the answer to this, is a resounding YES.
Thank you to all those who support us financially and prayerfully. Together we are having an impact and bringing change to a few people in the world.
