The big opening was last Sunday for a packed house. Today was sort of the first normal service, so a few less in attendance.
Good worship, reasonable preaching, but it’s already evident in this place that there is a feeling like this is home. We have never built a building as nice as this for church, but this has a sense of permanency about it, there’s a sense of ownership for the nationals, this is home. It feels good.
Even though we have never focused on buildings, we have actually accomplished something really good by putting time and effort into this building. There is now a place for people to feel like they belong to this. This is also an easy place for people to bring people to.
This is John 14:12’s home in Baseco. Really does feel good.
