We’re Moving on…
My wife had a simple but profound revelation. 14 years ago we started a missionary work, which has been great, challenging at times, but very rewarding. Now, 14 years into the journey, we are no longer missionaries (at least not in Baseco), we have an established ministry, with a network of workers, volunteers and teams coming through.
…now it’s time to focus on building the church. Of course this has been happening all along, but with a very strong focus on outreach and meeting the needs of the many, but now we must deliberately DEVELOPE the local church.
We have always focused on discipleship and Discipleship is the mission, discipleship also empowers the mission, now this mission needs to get moving with greater momentum… we need to build the church, focus on a developing a fellowship of, and for believers.
Develope a more centralized place of equipping, so that we can continue to expand and grow, which will increase the work and the effect of the “mission”.
We have “reached” well, now we need to “gather”.
Exciting times are always ahead with Jesus.
