There is a tendency to separate Life and Christianity, especially Christian ministry, to those moments or times when we are specifically focused on doing something Christian.
We have these “compartmentalized or segmented lives”, work here, relaxation here, church here, ministry there, but life and Ministry cannot actual be separated.
We are all meant to have a LIFE OF MINISTRY. Ministry to others is as normal breathing is. I don’t have to ever think about my breathing, it’s highly important, but it’s never something that gets on my calendar or even my daily agenda, but without it, I die.
It’s actually very hard to not breath. This is what ministry can be and should be for the Christian, just a normal part of every day life.
The Bible shows us, that if anyone is thirsty, let him come and drink, and THEN out of his inner most being, rivers of living water shall flow…that flow is natural, it goes with the drinking, that flow is the ministry.
