Over the years many good Programs and Projects have developed around us. This was never our intention, as we only  intended to build bigger and better people, and we carry a conviction that people are not Projects, they are people…lost and dying, without hope and in need of Jesus to save them.

Our Programs and Projects grew naturally, as we saw a need, met it and then realised that there were so many people in that very same situation. As we helped people with the same or similar needs, Programs and Projects developed. These Programs and Projects help us to build bigger and better people, they expose people to the gospel and ultimately to their Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Pedi Cabs – AUD 300

These are pedal powered, short distance commuter vehicles for both goods and people. The people who ride Pedi Cabs, rarely ever own them, they rent them for sometimes as much as 100p per day (12hr period). We have known people who have worked all day, paid their rental and had 30-40p for themselves and their family…simply not enough.

We produce Pedi Cabs in our welding shop and contract them to a family, who pay 10p per day (24hr period). This enable the fathers to double and sometimes triple their total daily income, without the large rental fee. The Pedi Cab always belongs to John 14:12, the driver and our ministry go halves on all maintenance costs. All repairs are carried out by our welding shop, which then supplies finance for other areas of ministry. We currently have over 80 families who have received a Pedi Cab…it is a huge blessing to them.

The Pedi Cab is 100% produced in the slum. The shop makes the bikes and the frames, the covers are produced by a converted muslim couple, using pedal powered sew machines right in the centre of our slum. We have had some Pedi Cabs in operation for more than 5 years, we just keep repairing them.

AUD 250, is an investment into a family for at least the next 5 years, and injects finance into the economy of the slum. The people who work for us are paid double the wage for the work that they do. This is very successful, and our longest running program. Your family name or the name of your church will be on the covers of the Pedi Cabs you funded, photo’s being sent to you once they are produced.

Birthing Better Babies (BBB) – AUD 100 per birth

A sensational Program, that is able to bless children before they are born. The aim is to birth a better baby, not a small, weak or sick one who will struggle through the first few months of life and perhaps become a statistic…we want big, fat, healthy, breast fed babies.

The program supplies vitamins for the pregnant mother throughout her pregnancy, funds all of the necessary scans and checks along the way, allows the mother the luxury of birthing in a hospital with real doctors and nurses, not at home using a pretend mid wife…plus if the mother has already had a lot of children (families range from 4-21 children, average being 6-8), the program funds a tubal ligation for those who would like one.

Student Sponsorship – Elementary AUD 90, High School AUD 250

We have 200 children in school today funded by ourselves, individuals and churches. Sponsorship provides a child with everything they will need for one full year of school.

Each student receives 2 new uniforms, new shoes, all books and stationary, a bag, covers all tests and examinations, covers graduation costs (items are replaced as needed throughout the year). You will receive a student profile with a photos and basic info’ about your student and will soon be able to access updates and report scores via a page dedicated to students on the blog.

Every cent of your funds goes directly to your student, not to his/her family, not into the community, not into another project, there are literally 0% admin’ fees…your funds go to your child.

All of our current youth leadership came up through the sponsorship program.

PLEASE NOTE – we DO NOT ENCOURAGE people to sponsor a student for a year, put them all the way through Elementary (6 years) or High School (4 years), you can pay it yearly, but we would like you to be responsible for this childs education…start them, so that they can complete it.

Family Sponsorship – AUD 25 per week

This is a tricky Program to promote and administer, but it is a very valuable one. We have families that for one reason or another have lost a parent. In our world this is a real disaster. The example of Gloria, 6 children, one a little bit retarded, pregnant with number 7, a working husband, who was one night killed for absolutely no reason…how does she survive, earn an income…what does she do. She starts taking her children out of school, she can’t afford that now, she starts selling possessions, she needs to eat, the children are becoming malnourished and sick, there is not enough food, a really desperate mother will give a sick child away to some charity who will care for them, a bad mother will push the sick one aside, to focus on the healthy ones, there are no medicines, she will do absolutely any menial task for the smallest amount of money….the downward spiral is impossible for her to stop by herself. So WE STOP IT in Jesus name.

Family sponsorship finances her life, provides weekly funds and weekly food for the whole family, puts her children back in school, repairs her house if needed, we release a flood of blessing and love upon her and keep doing it for years if necessary, until she can work again.
